WP6 assists in complying with relevant legislation and ethical guidelines. WP6 continuously monitors the implementation of the measures to protect data and privacy that were developed by the initial HARMONY action. In addition, WP6 investigates if HARMONY PLUS-specific activities call for modifications to the existing legal and ethical framework of HARMONY and the informed consent form. WP6 will collaborate with other IMI BD4BO projects [LINK] and with EDHEN [LINK].
Objectives
- Ensuring compliance with relevant EU ethical and legal frameworks. Providing guidance on patient privacy, data protection and governance;
- Promoting awareness of and attention for ethical issues related to the activities of the consortium;
- Guiding, assisting, and supporting HARMONY PLUS in exploring and developing sustainable governance and business models to guarantee continuation of the project after its IMI lifetime.
