WP1 provides a scientific and governance structure that facilitates collaboration, support, and effective supervision for all Partners in the Alliance. The work package coordinates all activities and logistics, and tracks and reports progress. Explicitly stating goals and expected outcomes will ensure the quality and timeliness of deliverables and the effective management of the objectives. The activities are built on and benefit from the governance, workflows, and procedures that were established in the initial HARMONY project [LINK].
Objectives
- Ensuring alignment with the initial HARMONY action at the scientific and management level;
- Preserving the governance and management structure of the initial HARMONY action to jointly steer towards the desired results and an efficient structure for decision making and conflict resolution;
- Guaranteeing the implementation of the project according to the work plan and the efficient management of scientific activities, with special attention to cross-WP activities, dependencies and work dynamics;
- Managing resources, procedures and tools to ensure that all expected results are delivered in time, with a high quality and within the budget, including risk management procedures;
- Seeking alignment with other projects within the Big Data for Better Outcomes program and other IMI projects, ensuring the engagement of key cross-functional partners and avoiding overlap and duplication of efforts;
- Disseminating or exploiting HARMONY PLUS output, including identifying deliverables that should be sustained beyond the duration of the funded action. Identifying potential end-users and results that can be made openly accessible.
