The HARMONY Alliance is a Public-Private Partnership for Big Data in Hematology, including over 100 organizations such as European medical associations, hospitals, research institutes, patient organizations, pharmaceutical and IT companies. HARMONY uses Big Data analytics to accelerate the development of more effective treatments for blood cancer patients.

HARMONY would like to inform bone marrow transplant professionals about the opportunities to become involved.  EBMT is a Partner in the HARMONY Alliance.

Accelerating better and faster treatment for patients with blood cancer

During EMBT2021, the annual conference of EBMT, HARMONY was able to present in a pre-recorded session (SS10).  In our upcoming workshop we would like to explain more and interact with you.

• The first part of the Workshop will provide a general overview of the activities and achievements of the HARMONY Alliance. In addition, patient perspectives, the HARMONY Big Data Platform, HARMONY Projects and smart Big Data Analytics Solutions will be presented (including the de-facto anonymization concept for data safety, reliability, security)
• The second part will provide attendees with opportunity to ask questions and participate in discussions.

Big Data accelerate better and faster treatment for Patients with Hematologic MalignanciesThe HARMONY Alliance is a European Public–Private Partnership for Big Data in Hematology that is capturing and mining Big Data on various Hematologic Malignancies. HARMONY Alliance, funded by IMI, unites more than 100 organizations such as European medical associations, hospitals, research institutes, patient organizations, pharmaceutical and IT companies.

HARMONY uses Big Data analytics to accelerate the development of more effective treatments for blood cancer patients. The aim is to accelerate the development of more effective treatments. Data are stored in HARMONY’s Big Data Platform, which has already identified over 60,000 anonymized patient records, making it one of the largest databases of its kind. Leading research teams are currently using this wealth of information to answer critical questions about hematologic malignancies that cannot be addressed with other methods.
