On 19 June 2018, the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) will hold a breakfast debate (8:30 – 10:00) at the European Parliament in Brussels on big data in health. HARMONY Project Coordinator, Jesús María Hernández Rivas, based at IBSAL is invited to present. The event, kindly hosted by Soledad Cabezón Ruiz MEP, will feature a discussion with health and big data experts, policymakers, and researchers. Through the example of the IMI project – which aims to improve the care of patients with hematologic cancer – the debate will touch upon challenges and opportunities of using big data and eHealth services in healthcare systems.
This event is designed for Members of the European Parliament and policy advisors, EU policymakers, experts and stakeholders in the field of health research.

Public-private partnership for Big Data in Hematology
