HARMONY Alliance Partners are presenting at the Functional Precision Medicine for Blood Cancer Workshop & Symposium, which is organised from 5-7 September 2022 in Helsinki, Finland.
The Functional Precision Medicine for Blood Cancer Workshop & Symposium is an annual event organized in cooperation with the European Hematology Association Scientific Working Group for Precision Hematology, and brings together biomedical and clinical researchers who aim to develop and apply functional assays for the improved care of blood cancer patients.
Functional assays are not only useful scientific tools that highlight phenotypic changes occurring in tumor cells but can also be used to predict patient response to specific treatments. As more targeted drugs are developed and become available, it is important that tools that help guide therapy selection are also developed. This meeting provides a forum for researchers to present the latest developments in the field of functional precision medicine and discuss how discoveries in research laboratories can be advanced for clinical use and patient benefit.
Local organizers of the Functional Precision Medicine for Blood Cancer Workshop & Symposium are HARMONY Alliance Partners: University of Helsinki, Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland (FIMM), HUS Helsinki University Hospital.
