We participated in the 5th meeting of the European Myeloma Network – EMN2024, in Turin, Italy, from 18 to 20 April 2024.
Our joint EMN-HARMONY session took place on 19 April 2024. HARMONY Alliance Partners presented about 2 sub-projects in the framework of the RISS in the HARMONY Multiple Myeloma (MM) project and about synthetic data in MM.
The theme of our joint EMN-HARMONY session program was data-driven research in Multiple Myeloma, and presenting were:
- Pieter Sonneveld, EMN President, EHA SWG on Multiple Myeloma Chair, HARMONY Alliance Foundation Advisory Board Member about the opportunities of data innovation in Multiple Myeloma, the continued EMN-HARMONY collaboration and about the developments after the EU funded period.
- Elias K. Mai, Heidelberg University Hospital, HARMONY Alliance Partner about Identification of predictors for early MM disease progression and long-term survivors.
- Adrián Mosquera Orgueira, University Hospital of Santiago de Compostela, HARMONY Alliance Partner about Enhancing Multiple Myeloma Risk Stratification through Machine Learning Integration with the HARMONY Database.
- Gastone Castellani, University of Bologna, HARMONY Alliance Partner about Synthetic data for accelerating translational research and clinical application in Multiple Myeloma.
